Consultant Psychiatrist

As a full-time Consultant Psychiatrist, you'll provide clinical leadership at Braeburn House, a facility treating men with mental disorders under the Mental Health Act. You'll lead a multidisciplinary team and be the Responsible Clinician. The role requires a CCT in General Adult or Forensic psychiatry and experience in leading teams. Responsibilities include clinical oversight, participating in meetings, offering a psychiatric perspective, and contributing to service strategy and training. You'll join a supportive environment focusing on rehabilitation and recovery using positive behavioral support principles.

As the full time Consultant Psychiatrist you will join the multidisciplinary team providing clinical leadership at Braeburn House, alongside another part time consultant psychiatrist and supported by a full time Specialty Doctor. The service has 28 beds across twowards providing treatment for men with mental disorders within a Level 2 Rehabilitation site. You will act as a Consultant / Responsible Clinician for patients in this setting.
