You will have the support of experienced colleagues and the opportunity to build a sustainable consultant career with clinical, improvement, teaching and academic interests. A service with momentum Our recent NOF quality programme reported Q1 2026 crude mortality of 5.7%, with seven of eight NHFD indicators above the national average in the reported period. We are proud of the progress while remaining focused on timely surgery, mobilisation and the experience of older people and their families. We have developed a curriculum-mapped orthopaedic education programme, with 97% of consultants registered trainers, and are investing in the trauma nurse practitioner workforce and redesigned resident doctor rotas., University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust strives to have an inclusive culture where everyone feels like they belong, can thrive, knows that they add value and feels valued.
