Full Job Description

We are looking for a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist to joinour team of Consultants in Women's Health at Southmead Hospital, Bristol NHS Foundation Trust. Due to recent national appointments, we have created a need for someone to join ourgrowingteam and to supportour core business. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team when we are developing and expanding services offering high quality care to our women in all parts of our service. An interest in colposcopywould be especially welcome., Applicants should have a CCT or be within six months of achieving this at the date of interview or be listed on the GMC's specialist register to be eligible for application for a substantive post. CESR applicants are welcome and must have their CESR in place at the time of interview. The postholder willbe responsible forthe clinical management of patients under their care, and, in liaison with consultant colleagues, continuity of care when the post holder is absent.The postholder willbe responsible forthe professional supervision and management of junior medical staff.The postholder will berequiredto take part in a Clinical Audit Programme.
