Full Job Description

Suffolk Sexual Health offers a level 3 integrated sexual health service for the prevention, management and treatment of sexually transmitted infection and the provision of contraceptive services, including long acting methods. The service is delivered at three main hubs at Ipswich, Bury St Edmunds and Lowestoft, with a satellite clinic at Haverhill. The Suffolk HIV service is delivered at our Ipswich and Bury St Edmunds clinics, providing specialist assessment and management of HIV and associated conditions, to support individuals to stay well, remain engaged in care, and to prevent ongoing transmission. The post holder will work for both services, and will be based at our Bury St Edmunds clinic., Provision of expert clinical care, complex case management and medical oversight for the services. Training and development for nursing and medical staff. Innovation and service development. Leading and participation for clinical audit, clinical governance and multi-disciplinary team activities. Role modelling preventative care programmes and working to national professional guidance.
