Job Description

We've been assigned by one of the best performing NHS Trusts in the UK to help them recruit a Consultant Rheumatologist on either a Substantive or a 12-month NHS Fixed Term basis. Our client is currently responsible for the health of over 270,000 people and is one of the largest providers of integrated healthcare in the UK. With a budget of over £1 billion and employing 17,000 people, the Health Board provides acute, tertiary, intermediate, mental health, community, and primary care services to people within this area.

The successful appointee will have the opportunity to work among a team of 5 Consultants, 1 Specialist Registrar, and 6 nurse specialists in the Department of Rheumatology. The role involves providing a comprehensive Rheumatology service within outpatient clinics, in addition to covering wards.

Location and Environment

The Trust is located within the South West of England, offering a variety of shops, cozy cafes, great restaurants, art galleries, a beautiful coastline, and beaches. It also has excellent transport links to major motorways and cities such as London, Bristol, and Birmingham.
