Consultant in Respiratory Medicine

Duties will involve delivery of outpatient clinics and service development. Additionally the appointee will provide cover for the dedicated ward by delivering ward rounds and providing specialist advice to other areas of Bradford Royal Infirmary, and may contribute to the general medical service. The appointee will be expected to participate in the student teaching rota, administrative duties associated with the care of his/her patients, participate in the running of the department in collaboration with consultant colleagues, communicate with local practitioners, supporting nursing and other AHP members of the team.

The appointee is expected to have a CCT or equivalent in Respiratory Medicine, or be within 6 months of obtaining this, and will be expected to have a wide range of experience in all aspects of respiratory and general medicine. The appointee will work alongside the existing team to provide comprehensive service provision.
