Full Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery and development of high-quality, patient-centred services within a busy and vibrant department. The successful candidate will play a key role in the continued expansion and innovation of our Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit (EPAU) and ambulatory gynaecology services, while contributing to the wider obstetrics and gynaecology consultant team., The successful applicant will:

  • Develop the Early Pregnancy service, including the Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit.
  • Deliver specialist outpatient and ultrasound services for women experiencing complications of early pregnancy.
  • Participate fully in the consultant on-call rota for obstetrics and gynaecology.
  • Contribute to clinical governance, quality improvement, teaching and service development.
  • Support multidisciplinary working across women's services

    Demonstrate expertise in the management of early pregnancy complications
  • Have experience in early pregnancy ultrasound and outpatient management pathways.
  • Show a commitment to excellence in patient care, education, research and service improvement.
