Full Job Description
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated and forward-thinking Consultant in Obstetrics to join our large, friendly and ambitious Womens Health team at Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust. This is a primarily obstetric consultant post, ideal for clinicians who are passionate about delivering high-quality maternity care within a busy, supportive and progressive service. The role offers excellent scope to develop specialist interests while contributing to a strong and cohesive consultant team., This post is designed to be predominantly obstetric in its first instance, ensuring stability and excellence within our maternity services. We particularly welcome applicants with interests in: High-risk obstetrics (including ATSM experience) Medical education and training of students, trainees and the MDT Quality improvement, research or service development There will be an opportunity to formally review the job plan after approximately 12 months in post. Subject to service need and departmental agreement, this review may include consideration of developing a limited gynaecology interest, should the postholder wish.
