Applications are invited for the post of a Consultant in Hematology.

The post has a specific focus on acute leukaemia and teenage/young adult (TYA) patients.

This post is to commence 13 October 2026. It is expected that the successful applicant will provide haematology leadership to the TYA service., We are seeking an enthusiastic full-time Consultant in Haematology with expertise in acute leukaemia and caring for TYA patients.

The successful candidate will work with established sub-speciality teams in leukaemia, stem cell transplantation and cellular therapies. There will be flexibility within the job plan depending upon experience and interests.

The appointee will lead and develop care for TYA patients with haematological malignancies in CUH and across the region.

The applicant must have demonstrable skills in listening, reading, writing and speaking in English that enable effective communication about medical topics with patients and colleagues, as set out in the GMC's Good Medical Practice (2013). Non-UK applicants must possess the IELTS/OET exam before obtaining a GMC licence to practice.
