Full Job Description
We are recruiting a substantive Consultant Cellular Pathologistatthe Royal Sussex County Hospital. You will work within supportive and experienced subspecialtyteamsinGynecologicalandGastrointestinal Pathologytohelp deliver highquality,timelydiagnostics. You will also contribute to leadership,training,research,and ourregional Sussex network collaboration., The clinical duties of the post include the following:
- Independent reporting of diagnostic cellular pathology case with a focus on Gynaecological and Gastrointestinal Pathology.
- Participation in relevant Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) meetings and provision oftimelyclinicopathological advice.
- Clinical supervision of trainees and contribution to undergraduate and postgraduate education (including BSMS).
- Participation in clinical governance, audit, EQA, quality improvement, servicedevelopmentand leadership.
- Adherence to Trust policies including information governance, health and safety, safeguarding and equality,diversityand inclusion.
