Full Job Description
We are looking to appoint a Part Time / 8PA's Consultant Haematologist with an interest in Myeloma at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust based at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital., With respect to this post, the appointee will work within a team dedicated to state-of-the-art and comprehensive management of plasma cell neoplasms (Myeloma, Plasmacytoma and Type AL Amyloid) including delivery of both autologous and allogeneic stem cell transplant and CAR T cell therapy. The Myeloma team also looks after patients with Aplastic Anaemia and patients with Autoimmune + Neurological disorders undergoing intensive Haematology treatments.
The appointee will, together with Consultant colleagues, contribute to the provision of inpatient, day case and outpatient haemato-oncology and haematopoietic stem cell transplantation (as per JACIE standards).
