Consultant Haematologist with an interest in malignant haematology

We are seeking three substantive Consultant Haematologists to join our team at Barnet and Chase Farm Hospitals. Following completion of a service review and stabilisation of the consultant workforce, these posts offer an opportunity to develop malignant haematology services within a supportive multidisciplinary team. Successful candidates will provide general and malignant haematology care, with opportunities to develop specialist interests and contribute to clinical research, teaching and service improvement.,

• Deliver outpatient clinics, including malignant haematology, chemotherapy, general haematology and urgent suspected cancer referrals.
• Participate in inpatient attending and consultant on-call rotas.
• Contribute to cancer and departmental MDTs, providing advice and liaison across specialties.
• Support laboratory haematology, including blood film reporting and transfusion advice.
• Contribute to clinical trials, audit, governance and service development.
• Provide teaching and educational supervision for medical students and junior doctors.
