Thisnewly created post offers a unique opportunity to support our newly redesigned initial assessment neurodevelopmental pathway aiming to reduce the waiting time for autism assessment.You will play a pivotal role in shaping early intervention and improving outcomes for young children and their families. You'll be joining at atransformational time, as we redesign our clinical pathways toreduce waiting timesandenhance patient experience. Your expertise will directly contribute to service innovation and improved access to care. What we offer:

• No overnight or CSA medical commitments

Please note JD is pending RCP approvalMain duties of the job This is a new post and would suit a consultant who is wishing to develop their role within a department that has a broad range of community paediatric experience. The post holder will work in all aspects of Community Paediatrics, suite to their experience, competencies and the priorities of service provision. There is no overnight commitment. The postholders will contribute to the daytime child protection rota, but there is no expectation to contribute to Childhood Sexual Abuse (CSA) medicals. The postholder will join a team of 9 Consultant Community Paediatricians, 2 community SAS doctors and one Speciality Doctor. Senior therapists and clinical nurse specialist also contribute to assessments and care for young, 1. Improving representation at senior levels of staff with disabilities, from black, Asian, and ethnic minorities background, identify as LGBTQ+ and women, through improved recruitment and leadership development 2. Widening access (anchor institution) and employability 3. Improving the experience of staff with disability 4. Improving the EDI literacy and confidence of trust staff through training and development 5. Making equalities mainstream
