Experteer Overview In this role you will deliver high-quality inpatient and outpatient hematology care for malignant and non-malignant conditions, while supporting safe transfusion practice and contributing to MDT decisions. You will oversee laboratory hematology investigations, participate in chemotherapy and immunotherapy delivery, and help shape service development and governance. You will teach, supervise, and engage in research within a forward-thinking, patient-centered department that values evidence-based care. Pay / Benefits

  • Provide specialist inpatient and outpatient care for malignant and non-m malignant hematological conditions Lead and participate in multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings for blood cancer and complex hematology cases Oversee and interpret laboratory hematology investigations, including blood films and bone marrow samples Support safe and effective transfusion practice and provide clinical advice on blood component use Participate in the delivery of chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other specialist treatments Contribute to service development, clinical governance, audit, and quality improvement initiatives Teach and supervise junior medical staff, students, and other healthcare professionals Participate in the on-call rota for hematology services Tasks Full registration with GMC to practice UK-trained and must hold CCT or be within six months of award by interview date Desirable: MD/PhD/MBA; MRCP or equivalent Broad general experience of hematology on SpR/STr rotation Desirable: interest in clinical trials Essential leadership skills within multidisciplinary teams Desirable: attendance at management training courses Key requirements on-site staff nursery wellbeing practitioners regular wellbeing classes dedicated staff physiotherapist occupational health services 24/7 employee assistance programme
