Consultant Cardiologist Heart Failure and Device

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated, enthusiastic team to develop and provide high quality services. The successful candidate will lead and develop the heart failure service, working with colleagues within the Trust and specialist teams in the community. They will also contribute to the expansion of the simple and complex cardiac implantable electronic device service. Inpatient cardiology care and specialist referral advice is provided with colleagues via a Cardiologist of the week rot, 1. Improving representation at senior levels of staff with disabilities, from black, Asian, and ethnic minorities background, identify as LGBTQ+ and women, through improved recruitment and leadership development
2. Widening access (anchor institution) and employability
3. Improving the experience of staff with disability
4. Improving the EDI literacy and confidence of trust staff through training and development
5. Making equalities mainstream

The post will be based at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, London which is part of Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust, providing high quality care to patients across the London boroughs of Lewisham, Greenwich and Bexley., Our people are our greatest asset.
