We're looking for a Construction Manager to join our Hogsmill team based in Hogsmill, Surrey., Location: Hogsmill, SurreyHours: 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a critical project aimed at improving the resilience and capacity of the Hogsmill Sewage Treatment Works. As a key member of the leadership team, you'll play a pivotal role in successfully delivering this essential infrastructure upgrade, enhancing storm tank capacity and supporting infrastructure improvements.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Construction Manager, you'll be working within the Hogsmill team, supporting them in delivering this critical sewage treatment works project. Your day to day will include:
-Leading on safety, implementing and enforcing health and safety policies to maintain a safe working environment
-Managing and optimising resources including labour, plant, materials, and supply chain
-Collaborating with the Commercial Team on financial forecasts, cost control, and value reviews
-Ensuring all construction activities meet project specifications and quality standards
-Managing stakeholders including senior management, clients, site teams, and subcontractors
You have demonstrable experience in construction project management within the water or utilities sector
-You possess a relevant safety qualification such as IOSH Managing Safely, plus CSCS/EUSR and SMSTS certifications
-You have strong knowledge of construction management best practices, including experience with MEICA assets and CDM regulations
-You're proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software, with the ability to monitor progress against programmes
-You have excellent communication and leadership skills with a collaborative approach to teamwork
