Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise cable percussion drilling operations on site

Set up, operate, and dismantle cable percussion rigs

Ensure boreholes are drilled to required depth and specification

Oversee casing installation, sample recovery, and in-situ testing

Ensure accurate record keeping

Complete daily drilling reports and site documentation

Ensure compliance with health & safety legislation and company RAMS

Carry out routine maintenance and fault diagnosis on drilling equipment

Liaise with site managers, engineers, and clients

Supervise and mentor assistant drillers and trainees

Ensure site housekeeping standards are maintained

CSCS and NVQ Level 2 (Lead Driller) required

BDA accreditation preferred

Full driving licence is essential

Flexibility to work in varying locations around the UK

Salary - Up to £45,000 depending on experience
