Full Job Description

  • Ensure immediate internal containment of supplier quality escapes found in the Plant/FAL.
  • Work with suppliers to provide immediate containment at the supplier site.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and the extended procurement community to determine root cause and permanent corrective actions to eradicate quality escapes.
  • Liaise closely with the operational and quality teams to agree liability and ensure containment and permanent corrective actions are in place.
  • Provide feedback/KPIs to the operational/quality organisations on supplier quality performance within the supply chain.
  • Work closely with the PIO function to ensure continued availability of parts during times of quality escapes.
  • Support the operational team in managing change within the supply chain by providing customer protection for non-supplier liability issues.
  • Support commercial teams in the supplier claims process by providing the cost of activities carried out by PIOWC in containment of supplier escapes.
  • Work closely with incoming inspectors to ensure the initiation/removal of high-rated inspections when required.
  • Collaborate with extended procurement teams (PIA/PIM/PIE) to eradicate/close NOE's/QSR's within the supply chain.
  • Adopt and implement demand management of the supply chain.
  • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure supply chain performance.
  • Deploy transnational process and policy.
  • Constantly review and manage performance of a portfolio of suppliers - including challenging and leading on recoveries.
  • Support the deployment of the procurement digital strategy.
  • Identify improvement opportunities both internally and externally.
  • Coordinate supplier working parties.
  • Interface with the conformance management team and supply chain quality organisation on quality escapes into the plant and subsequent stock management.
