YOUR IMPACT Responsibilities: Review and initiate new checks, including coordinating with businesses to ensure accuracy and completeness of information Conduct due diligence of business opportunities by considering the firm's current and historical assignments, positions and economic exposures, and other touch points with relevant transaction parties Work closely with global members of the CRG to collect feedback, identify potential issues and report findings to the CRG leadership team Monitor and update the status of previously cleared opportunities using information from public sources, deal teams, and internal reporting tools Document the elements of review for each conflict check in the
CRG's proprietary database Work on one or more strategic projects within CRG to enhance risk management, enable automation and improve operating effectiveness Qualification: Bachelor's degree required 2-5 years of work experience, preferably in the financial or legal sectors supporting Investment Banking or Corporate Finance with a solid understanding of Investment Banking activities, e.g. merger/advisory products, capital markets and principalling transactions Prior relevant work experience in conflicts management preferred, but not required High attention to detail Strong organizational skills Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with a high sense of urgency Ability to process and analyze high volumes of information Commercial savviness with ability to exercise discretion with respect to highly confidential situations / sensitive information; prudent risk management orientation Strong communication skills and ability to interact directly with a wide group of
