Full Job Description

This is a part-time opportunity within our Aviation business, supporting the day-to-day operation of the Skyways Conference Centre. You'll be the welcoming face of the centre, ensuring bookings, facilities, and meeting spaces are delivered smoothly for customers and colleagues. The role As a Conference and Facilities Coordinator, you'll be responsible for the efficient running of a busy conference facility. Working closely with internal teams and customers, you'll ensure meeting spaces are prepared, systems are kept up to date, and events run without issue. Day-to-day, you'll be:
- Managing conference room bookings, amendments, and cancellations, keeping systems accurate and up to date
- Preparing conference rooms to customer requirements and ensuring facilities are ready for use
- Updating front-of-house displays with daily meeting and event information
- Checking AV and electrical equipment daily and coordinating maintenance when required
- Liaising with internal stakeholders, including catering and facilities teams, to support upcoming bookings. This is a part-time, onsite role, working 20 hours per week (4 hours Wednesday, 8 hours Thursday and Friday) at RAF Wyton.
- Experience working in an administrative role within a busy, customer-focused environment
- Good all-round administrative and organisational skills
- Strong IT literacy and confidence using office systems
- Clear written and verbal communication skills when dealing with a range of stakeholders. Qualifications for the Conference and Facilities Coordinator: GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C/4 or above, or NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration. Security Clearance The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) / Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
