Concierge

This position offers an excellent opportunity to become part of our team and provide support across the organisation. We pay an attractive salary of £28,608 - £30,023 and offer access to training and development opportunities. We are seeking a reliable and proactive Concierge to support the safe, secure and efficient operation of Council buildings and satellite sites. The role includes building management, security, keyholding, room setup, contractor liaison, routine facilities support and responding to operational issues as they arise. The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining service continuity across the estate, including participation in out-of-hours and weekend rotas. You will also provide front-of-house support and visitor assistance when required. This is a varied, hands-on role requiring flexibility, initiative and a strong commitment to customer service. For the role, we ask that you have

• Minimum of 3 GCSEs Grade A-C including English Language or equivalent or a Or Level 2 qualification on the Credit and Qualifications framework.
• A good understanding of building management concepts and the importance of working within a regulatory framework.
• Experience in controlling security and other caretaking functions on a large building or complex of buildings.
• Full UK Category B (Cars) driving licence and the use of a motor vehicle insured for business / work purposes to travel throughout the borough to Council sites and respond to emergency call outs.
