Working hours: 40 hours per weekWorking Patterns: Rota including evenings, weekends and bank HolidayInterview Date: To be confirmedWe are looking for a welcoming, organised and compassionate Concierge to join our Lifehouse Services. This is a key front-of-house role, often acting as the first point of contact for people accessing our service, visitors and colleagues.As Concierge, you will help provide a professional, safe and supportive environment for our clients, contributing to high-quality, outcome-focused support services where client choice, dignity and control are central.What you will be doing;Offering front-of-house services to clients, ensuring they are signed in or out where required and that queries are handled professionally, referring to support staff where needed.Managing additional front-of-house duties, including telephone calls, external visitors to the Lifehouse, messages, follow-up calls, log books and handover reports.Managing enquiries relating to available
accommodation and facilitating access to emergency accommodation where required.Recording outgoing mail and supporting administration for internal and external post, including sorting and issuing post to clients and staff.Completing building checks, including patrols, ensuring fire exits and external doors are free from obstruction, and maintaining health and safety, fire and other records as appropriate.Working with clients to maintain positive relationships, resolve conflict and use de-escalation skills where appropriate.Making decisions about excluding clients in conjunction with the duty manager or on-call system.Providing Concierge services across more than one site, including attending other sites to respond to incidents and using CCTV to monitor other services.Acting in a lone-working capacity where required, supporting client health and safety through basic first aid, calling emergency assistance if needed and supporting site evacuation in the event of a fire alarm.Updating client
information on systems, supporting entry and exit processes, accurately recording rent payments and contributing to data entry and statistical gathering for housing management purposes.Supporting the cleanliness and readiness of office, communal and void spaces to help maintain a safe and welcoming environment.Logging and reporting maintenance issues, including emergency out-of-hours repairs.Taking part in training, supervision and performance reviews to support your ongoing professional development.About you; You will have experience of working in a busy front office or customer service environment and be confident communicating with a wide range of people. You will be organised, attentive to detail and able to follow processes and procedures accurately.You will also bring a team-focused approach, a basic understanding of health and safety, and confidence using Microsoft Office, email programmes and databases. Experience of CCTV monitoring, working with vulnerable clients, COSHH
