We are currently recruiting a Computing Lecturer to support West Lancashire College. This is a great opportunity for experienced lecturers or professionals from the sector looking to move into teaching.
The Role
As a Computing Lecturer, you will deliver engaging lessons and support learners preparing for careers. Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering Computing lessons (T Levels)
- Supporting coursework and assignment completion
- Preparing learners for placements and employment
- Monitoring learner progress and providing feedback
- Promoting safeguarding and professional standards
What We're Looking For
- Experience in Computing (Databases / general IT)
- Teaching qualification (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience in programming / networking (desirable)
- Experience with T Levels (desirable)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain) for safeguarding
