Salary: up to £45,350

The Role


We require a Computer Science / IT specialist with the experience and ability to plan and deliver a curriculum that spans Key Stage 2, Entry Level, Functional Skills, Key Stage 3, BTEC and GCSE. No matter what accreditations each of our children and young people pursue, we maintain high aspirations for our children - regardless of their learning journey - and don't underestimate the importance of qualifications to provide our children with the best life chances and opportunities.


The Right Person



  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) / QTLS or Post Graduate Education Certificate (PGCE)

  • A proven record of exceptional teaching.

  • An excellent, efficient and emotionally intelligent communicator.

  • The ability/willingness to teach a subject specialism (Computing, Computer Science and/or E-Sports) to BTEC, GCSE or equivalent vocational level.

  • A strong desire to work inclusively within an emotionally literate environment, supporting children who have experienced adverse childhood experiences (ACEs).

  • Experience of crisis-management/managing challenging behaviours and working with children with SEMH difficulties.

  • Proven experience of implementing a creative and academically engaging curriculum which meets the needs of individual pupils, whilst maintaining high standards of education.

  • Experience of effective working with hard-to-reach or disengaged families.
