Composite Technician Apprentice

Introduction

This role provides hands-on experience and structured learning in composite manufacturing processes and quality standards. You will work under supervision while developing technical competence, safe working practices and an understanding of production processes required to produce high-quality composites components for a range of sectors.

What You'll Do

The Composites Technician Apprenticeship will include structured stages of development, All required to manufacture high quality composite components, which include:

• Induction and safety training.
• Basic composite manufacturing skills in different areas of the process.
• Material handling and preparation.
• Manufacturing techniques & skills development including; Kit cutting, Laminating, Breakout, Trim & Assembly departments.
• Quality inspection & adherence processes.

• Some great examples of this are a number of supervisors who started life with Bamd as apprentices and now lead departments and teams and Bamd's current Managing Director was once a Bamd Apprentice.

• Desired - GCSE - English and Maths - 4-9 (C-A*)

Working Week: Monday to Friday, 6am - 3:15pm.
