Overview
Red Bull Advanced Technologies (RBAT) is seeking a Composite Manufacturing Team Leader to oversee day-to-day composite production activities, ensuring the safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of components for a range of innovative engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of composite manufacturing technicians and chargehands.
- Deliver production plans in line with quality, cost, and delivery targets.
- Drive a strong safety-first and Right First Time culture.
- Monitor performance, resolve production issues, and escalate risks proactively.
- Support training, performance management, and team development activities.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives across safety, quality, and productivity.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Production Control, and Programme teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Requirements
- Significant experience within composite manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of prepreg carbon fibre manufacturing processes.
- Previous experience leading or supervising manufacturing teams.
- Knowledge of laminating, vacuum bagging, autoclave curing, bonding, trimming, and assembly processes.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and manufacturing documentation.
- Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working within a fast-paced production environment.
