Full Job Description
- Provide expert support on the delivery of the Compliance Monitoring Programme's reviews to identify and manage change
- Undertake testing and analysis of controls including policies, procedures, reporting, etc. in their application to mitigate specific conduct risks against specified products and/or target markets
- Carry out ad hoc requests by the Head of Compliance and/or the business as required
- Support the implementation of regulatory and policy developments and initiatives
- Provide specialist compliance input, advice and support to the business
- Represent compliance at project team meetings and at other forums, including external forums where required.
- Support work requests in relation to regulatory and policy such as with the preparation and submission of applications and reports to the FCA
- Keep up to date the firm's key compliance registers and logs as required
- Build and maintain relationships with the businesses' key stakeholders
- Keep up to date with the regulatory horizon and future changes that may affect the business and its customers
Are you an experienced Compliance professional who enjoys taking ownership, driving assurance activity, and has experience within an FCA regulated financial services environment? Do you thrive in a fast-paced specialist lending business where conduct risk, Consumer Duty, regulatory change, and strong stakeholder engagement are equally important?, - Organised and regimented work method
- Ability to engage and communicate with all levels in the firm
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Excellent analysis and report writing skills
- Resilient in the face of challenge
- Flexibility to engage with business drivers as well as regulatory Knowledge & Qualifications
- Experience gained in a Compliance function of an FCA authorised firm
- Previous Internal Audit or Compliance related monitoring experience (although desirable not essential)
- Capable of planning, executing and reporting on defined audit subjects within defined business areas
- Capable of engaging in a constructive manner with all levels of the business
- Works in an organised and methodical manner
