Full Job Description

  • Lead the Janus Henderson Control Room for EMEA acting as the initial receiver of market sounding opportunities
  • Responsible for ensuring the receipt of inside information is handled in line with regulatory expectation
  • Liaise with Portfolio Managers on wall crossing opportunities
  • Undertake Market Abuse advisory activities such as reviewing regulatory updates and considering the impact on Janus Henderson
  • Carry out other duties as assigned

    Must have skills
  • A detailed understanding of market abuse regulations and market sounding regulatory guidance
  • An ability to assess Inside Information and make risk-based decisions
  • Experience in a control room setting or trade surveillance team at an investment firm
  • An ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills to manage key stakeholders such as Portfolio Managers
  • A strong eye for detail
    • Nice to have skills
  • Previous experience with My Compliance Office
  • Previous experience with Charles River as an order management system
