Full Job Description
- We are looking for a Compliance, Communication and Policy Officer to support our Education Partnership team. You will be passionate about upholding high educational standards by ensuring compliance within local authority statutory functions, working closely with schools, governors, and stakeholders providing expert advice, guidance, and support alignment with national and local expectations, promoting quality education for all
- As a key representative for the Local Authority, the Compliance, Communication, and Policy Officer will engage with regional and national education forums, contributing to strategic planning and school improvement. Your role is crucial in delivering policy updates and offering guidance to educational partners, ensuring alignment with best practices and regulatory standards
- The role of the Compliance, Communication, and Policy Officer is to serve as the primary liaison for education policy updates, ensuring clear and accessible communication of key changes from national and regional bodies. Supporting schools in implementing the RE syllabus and advising SACRE and overseeing educational visits, This post is fixed term for one year from the start date for the purpose of supporting the transition of education statutory functions from Schools Improvement Liverpool to Liverpool City Council., Liverpool City Council is committed to fostering a workforce representative of the communities we serve. - As Compliance, Communication, and Policy Officer, the post holder will have relevant qualifications and experience in education policy and compliance, strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills, and a commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion. They will excel in organising events, training educational staff and governors, and leveraging digital tools for effective communication and data management
