Complex Children's Care Workers

You will be supporting children and young people with complex needs in their own homes and within the community. This is a highly rewarding role where you will play a key part in improving quality of life, promoting independence, and supporting families.

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, person-centred care to children with complex needs

Support with personal care, daily living tasks, and routines

Deliver clinical and specialist care (where trained)

Support emotional regulation and behavioural needs

Facilitate community access and social activities

Work in partnership with families and professionals

Accurately record care delivery and report any concerns

Types of Needs You May Support

Minimum 6 months experience in care (children's or complex care preferred)

Experience working with complex needs or behaviours (desirable)

Willingness to undertake specialist training

Strong communication and safeguarding awareness

Right to work in the UK

Enhanced DBS (or willing to apply)

Desirable (but not essential)

Experience in children's services

Training in PEG, epilepsy, or behavioural support
