About the Role

This is a unique and varied role, working within Leicestershire County Council's Complaints and Information Management Service. We are a small, dedicated and professional team that includes Corporate Complaints and Freedom of Information (FOI). You will be responsible for the management of all complaints received into the Local Authority.

About You

To apply for this post, you must:

  • Demonstrable experience of supporting a Complaints or FOI function and / or working in a customer service Information service dealing with the public
  • Experience of investigating and resolving complaints and responding to requests for information
  • Well-developed listening skills with the ability to interpret information
  • Ability to deal with correspondence and queries proactively, thinking and planning ahead
  • Ability to organise and prioritise a diverse workload
  • Ability to develop IT skills as new systems become available

You must also have an understanding of, and commitment to, equality, diversity and inclusion. In addition, we also expect you to share and will ask you to evidence when you have demonstrated them as part of the selection process.
