Full Job Description
We are looking for a flexible and approachable individual, to join us in providing operational support to the Community provision and its users. This role will offer bank cover to the existing Community Technicians, ensuring business continuity and uninterrupted Community use of HSDC facilities., You will be responsible for:
- To organise daily activities within areas of Community use, including the preparation/set up of resources or equipment for Community users.
- To work during Community Hours (evenings and weekends), ensuring a professional and personable point of contact for visitors and Community users.
- To induct new Community users to the South Downs gym, ensuring members have a sufficient understanding and agreement of safe equipment use.
- To provide a front-line service to the Community provision, ensuring incoming queries are accurately recorded and shared with the relevant team members.
- To participate in Community and College functions, meetings, events, and promotional activities as required.
- Monitor, maintain, and report on all relevant resources required for, or utilised by, the Community provision and its users.
The ideal candidate will hold a Level 2 Fitness Instructor qualification to deliver gym inductions, the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team, excellent customer services skills, and the ability to adapt and assist a variety of community groups., Level 2 qualification in the relevant area or relevant industry experience - Ability to communicate to a diverse range of people at all ages and levels
- Time management skills, organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks
