Community Support Worker - Intensive Assertive Team

Community Mental Health Services in Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust have recently received extra investment to enable the development of an Intensive Assertive team to work alongside our CMHT's to provide an assertive model of care for those experiencing complex psychosis

This post is for a Community Support worker who will work with people who have a diagnosis of Psychosis along side other health and social complexities.

This post is for the Mid Locality.

The IAT team currently consist of Clinical leads, RMN's, OT and Social work roles, the team work alongside the local CMHT's

The Support Workers will work under the supervision of the other team members to provide holistic care, treatment and support to those who have traditionally been difficult to engage in Mental Health services. Experience of working with people with enduring mental health disorders, along with the ability to work in partnership with family members and VCSE /third sector services in the community is essential for these roles., The post holder will work closely with our qualified staff to deliver specific targeted interventions for people living with complex psychosis

In the summer, and during other holidays lots of people choose to visit the area. This increase the numbers of people who use out services.
