Full Job Description

You will be delivering evidence based interventions as per the Healthy Child Programme 0-5 years. You will be expected to work on your own initiative at times as well as under direct supervision of a Health Visitor or Caseload holder ., The job description gives an overview of the main tasks and responsibilities of the role, and the person specifications focuses on the qualifications, skills, experience and knowledge required.   • Registered Nurse
  • Degree in relevant subject
  • English and maths GCSE or equivalent, Knowledge of Nursing and evidence based practice
  • Knowledge of Healthy Child Programme
  • Knowledge of Child Development, Health and Well-Being in the Early Years
  • Awareness of health inequalities and impact on individuals and communities.
  • Knowledge of Child Protection Procedures, Awareness of parental mental and potential impact on infants and children
  • Awareness of SEND and potential impact on infants and children and their family
  • Evidence of post registration professional development
  • Research Community Projects, Community Nursing
  • Working with children in community setting
  • Health promotion/public health
  • Multi-agency liaison working, Team working
  • Ability to work independently
  • Communication skills at appropriate level
  • Negotiation skills
  • Reflective Practitioner
