Make a direct impact on reducing loneliness and social isolation across Walsall. This Community Social Connector role offers the chance to help residents build meaningful connections whilst developing partnerships that strengthen entire communities.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
You'll work with individuals, families, volunteers, healthcare professionals and community organisations as part of the Making Connections programme in Walsall.
- Provide person-centred support to help people access local activities and services
- Identify barriers to engagement and help build meaningful social connections
- Develop partnerships with community organisations
- Maintain community resource databases
- Support local initiatives and promote borough-wide services
