Community Safety Control Room Operator

The main duties are to operate the C.C.T.V Public Open Space surveillance systems, Out of Hours Emergency Calls and Buildings Alarm Activated surveillance systems in a conscientious and efficient manner, in accordance with specified operating procedures and Codes of Practice.

The successful candidates will need to demonstrate good communications / listening skills, attention to detail, I.T. skills and have previous experience in a job that required working with the public and delivering a service or working within a Control room environment. The successful candidates must be available to a shift pattern. For the role, we ask that you have:

• 5 GCSEs Grade A-C including Maths and English or equivalent.
• Experience in a job which required working with the public and delivering a service.

It is determined that the successful post holder be at least 18 yeards old.
