Community Research NMAHP

The Trust is continuing to build its portfolio in order to develop research locally and improve access to clinical trials for the people of Warrington and Halton. The benefits of active participation in research are well recognised in leading to successful outcomes for patients as well as helping ensure our clinical staff stays abreast of the latest possible treatment options.

An opportunity for an 18 month fixed term role, funded by the NIHR Research Delivery Network, to increase research activity in the community.

The post holder will be a member of an established team and responsible for co-ordinating an agreed portfolio of research studies. The successful applicant may be an experienced research nurse, midwife or allied health professional (NMAHP) or an NMAHP looking to move into research as full training will be given., Key responsibilities of the post include supporting building research capacity in community, assisting study set up, identifying patients through screening notes, collecting data, interviewing, supporting, and monitoring patients and data entry.

If the successful candidate is a registered nurse, the role will include remote on call duties for which full training will be provided.

The successful applicant will be self-motivated, excellent at working both independently and with a team, professionally curious with fantastic communication skills, attention to detail and ability to form productive working relationships. This role is pivotal to increasing the capacity to deliver research in the community at North Cheshire and Mersey NHS Foundation Trust.
