Full Job Description

Rehabilitation worker post holders provide rehabilitation support to individuals following accident or illness allowing a return to independence. This involves following therapy plans and working in conjunction with other health and social care professionals., Candidates must be able to evidence their right to work in the UK. Please note the council does not hold a sponsor licence to sponsor people to work in the UK.

The role also involves direct work such as supporting with moving and handling, attending to personal care needs and administering medication as well as maximising opportunities for social inclusion and emotional wellbeing.
The role offers a fantastic work life balance through a 25 hour per week contract. This operates on a rolling rota basis requiring 3 to 4 to shifts per week, various hours on a rota pattern between the hours of 07:00 to 23:00. For those that would like more hours there is opportunity for working overtime including weekend enhancements.
As a Rehabilitation worker you will be part of a fast paced and developing service that has opportunities for further development and progression.
