Essential Driver Post: you will need a full driving license and own transport to travel throughout the borough. There's never been a more exciting time to join City of Doncaster Council. Could you make a difference to people's lives and work in social care, are you looking for the right opportunity to try STEPs team (short term enablement programme) need Community Reablement Officers that can demonstrate the 6 C's. Care - Compassion - Competence - Communication - Courage - Commitment You will support people in their own home for up to 6 weeks following a hospital stay or to prevent a hospital admission. You will assist and support people to live how they chose in a safe environment while promoting independence with practical support as agreed in their support plan, this is called reablement. Responsibilities will include providing personal care, assisting people with mobility transfers following a movement & handling plan, providing support with medication, meals and understand safeguarding and risk assessments. STEPs are regulated by the Care Quality Commission; you will understand how ways of working in the team makes sure we maintain the highest standard of care and excellence.
