Full Job Description

Based in East Brighton Community Mental Health Centre, MHHT is a small multi-disciplinary specialist team providing assessment, treatment and support to homeless or insecurely housed people who have a severe and enduring mental illness and who may have additional substance misuse problems. You will conduct complex assessments and risk assessments in a variety of settings and manage a complex caseload as a lead practitioner., We aim to provide a direct and assertive outreach service, working in partnership with other local homeless agencies from both the statutory and voluntary sector. You will require a basic understanding of housing legislation as it relates to Brighton and Hove and be familiar with recent changes in social legislation as it relates to this client group.

  • Qualified NMC Registered Mental Health Nurse, Successful candidates are normally appointed to the bottom of the pay scale unless previous NHS experience in a similar role can be evidenced., You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
