Full Job Description
An exciting opportunity has become available for a full-time Phlebotomist to join our busy and supportive team, providing a high-quality phlebotomy service to patients within an integrated team working across the community, this includes: Community Nursing, Intermediate Care and Community Matrons.,
- To deliver high quality care to the housebound patients of Paignton and Brixham and work as part of multi-disciplinary team and in partnership with primary care and secondary care.
- An ability to effectively communicate routine information to patients/carers where co-operation is required and where there may be barriers to understanding
- Responsible for planning and organising own day to day work tasks and activities within an occasionally unpredictable environment
- To obtain high quality blood samples from patients in the home environment
