Full Job Description

Appointments are mainly home visits with some out-patient clinics, therefore a car owner/driver is recommended., To perform skilled OT assessment of patients including complex physical and psychological conditions.

To provide evidence-based treatment programmes, guided by patient orientated goal setting, whilst liaising with the multidisciplinary team.

To deliver and progress these individualised treatment programmes and provide advice to family and carers.

To provide a high standard OT service, working autonomously with supervision and support, and as part of the multidisciplinary team., The main aim of Occupational Therapy is to optimise a person's functional participation in their chosen activities of daily living by providing client-focused assessment and intervention. We also aim to contribute to safe discharges and the flow of inpatient services within a supportive learning environment.
