Health Visiting Community Nursery Nurse - Supporting Government's Best Start in Life Agenda
Innovative Opportunity Focused on School Readiness in Trafford
Are you passionate about giving children the best possible start in life? We are seeking motivated and forward-thinking practitioners to join our Health Visiting and Family Hub team, working at the forefront of government initiatives around early years, school readiness, and the Best Start in Life agenda. This innovative post will play a pivotal role in supporting families and young children across Trafford to achieve positive health, wellbeing, and social outcomes, ensuring every child is ready for school and able to thrive.
Successful applicants will be neighbourhood based working across health visiting and family hub teams, with opportunities to collaborate across various locations in Trafford to promote equitable service delivery, targeting the service offer to reduce inequalities in outcomes. Core service hours are Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:30. You will be part of a dynamic, multi-agency environment, joining a supportive team who share your commitment to improving the lives of children and families.
We offer a comprehensive induction programme, supportive management, regular supervision, and ongoing professional development. Key responsibilities include delivering effective health visiting services to a defined population, undertaking delegated clinical duties, and collaborating with internal and external partners to drive school readiness and support the government's Best Start in Life priorities.

Key Requirements of the Person Specification:
-Nursery Nurse qualification/NVQ Level 3
-To undertake clinical duties as delegated by the Registered Health Visitor.
-May carry out delegated tasks in the client's home.
-To liaise with internal and external contacts.
Due to the nature of the role applicants must be able to travel independently across the locality and have access to a suitable vehicle for business purposes.
