Full Job Description
A pivotal new role of Community Nurse Manager has been created within St Richards Hospice Integrated Community Services. The role is wholly non-clinical, Monday Friday. The successful applicant will be a registered nurse and they will provide operational line management to the Advice &Guidance and Hospice at Home teams within the service. They will work alongside and collaboratively with the service clinical leadership to ensure that the teams are providing safe and compassionate care to their patients and loved ones. They will work with the Living Well Team Lead to ensure that services are staffed accordingly to deliver safe patient care. This post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check., This role is appropriate for an individual with demonstrable experience in all aspects of line management, including leading and supporting teams through change. As an individual, you will need to have excellent organisational and time management skills. You will also require excellent communication skills, both written and verbal to ensure clarity and understanding for the teams. You will also collaborate with other team leads to work on quality improvement work for the benefit of patients and staff.Our hospice values are central to the work that we do each and every day, and the successful applicant will need to demonstrate these in their day to day working.
