Community Nurse

Are you a registered Nurse who has a passion for treating patients in the community? Are you looking for a new opportunity to join community nursing, this post may just be right for you. The post is either full time or part time ., Working within the team will include a variety of patients, conditions and tasks including:

• Palliative Care - including syringe drivers
• Wound Care - including Leg Ulcer pathways
• Long Term Conditions - i.e. Diabetes management andinsulin administration
• Venepuncture
• Catheter and Bowel care
We offer comprehensive training, supervision and you will be supported by a team of experienced Clinical Leads and Community Nurses.

We have a permanent vacancy in the Fens and Brecks Community nursing team team . You will provide nursing interventions for patients in their own homes and community settings. You will be able to work autonomously and in an integrated way with our partners in Health & Social Care. The ability to work as part of a team to travel and have an adaptable approach to work is essential., We would love to hear from candidates who have a passion for working with adults in the community, who are kind, caring and able to assess, plan and deliver care packages to help patients have an improved quality of life and independence where possible., The service operates between the hours of 08:00 - 20:00 and you would be required to work shifts between these times.
