To provide expert clinical advice in relation to the education, management and leadership of teams of midwives and support staff.
To lead, manage and co-ordinate staff and activity within the community teams.
To empower and enable midwives to advocate for women in relation to birth choices, complex birth and personalised care planning.
To provide expert intrapartum care and advice in relation to home births.
To lead on the development, planning and future implementation of services in line with recent government drivers and local recommendations and initiatives.
To provide support to the community managers and provide cross cover when required.

We are looking for a dynamic, forward thinking experienced midwife to lead and develop services and people towards excellence in providing midwifery care in the community context.
