Full Job Description

Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for children and adolescents presenting with a range of emotional, behavioural, and psychological issues.Develop individualised care plans, ensuring the involvement of children, families, and other relevant professionals.Use clinical judgment and evidence-based practices to determine appropriate interventions.Offer direct clinical care, and ensure the monitoring and evaluation of treatment progress. Linking in with other parts of the wider CAMHS network when necessary such as crisis and home treatment team.

  • Degree/Diploma in Mental health nursing
  • NMC Registration
  • Full understanding of the practice area and specific role applied for demonstrated on the application form
  • Experience Essential
  • Previous community based experience or band 6 experience transferrable to a community setting
  • Evidence of development of specialist nursing skills and able to demonstrate the impact of this on practice
  • Desirable
  • Demonstrable experience working in community nursing at band 6 level
