Full Job Description

The Coventry Community Mental Health Team is a transforming team delivering person-centred mental health support to the people of Coventry. We are currently embarking on a change of base, currently based at Swanswell Point but soon to be dispersing into North, West and East neighborhood teams. This will enable us to deliver a higher standard of care to the communities we serve., Working within an established team, you'll be managing a caseload of clients who have complex mental health problems both with a psychotic illness and non-psychosis presentations and delivering a range of interventions and treatment across the whole patient group. As a successful candidate you will be given time and opportunity to build your skills and confidence to eventually allow you to undertake the role of management of a caseload. Those patients with a psychotic presentation may be managed through shared care within the team. This allows the sharing of responsibility, skills and knowledge which offers the opportunity for staff to develop their role whilst being supported by colleagues.

You will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, using evidence-based approaches and time limited interventions. You'll be communicating with a wide variety of clients; professionals; partners and agencies.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced band 6 clinician who would be confident in managing a caseload of patients with complex mental health needs. You will be supported to develop your skills and provide a range of clinical interventions that will benefit patients and families.

At Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust (CWPT), we deliver a wide range of physical, mental health, learning disability and autism services, and are proud to serve communities across Coventry, Warwickshire and beyond.

We put 'people at our heart'; this ethos is at the centre of everything we do and how we do it. We care for our staff and colleagues as much as they care for others and offer a wide range of benefits and development opportunities.

These include:

generous annual leave entitlement which increases during your time with us

excellent learning and development opportunities, including apprenticeship frameworks, distance learning, internal training, coaching and mentoring, and much more

salary sacrifice schemes for lease car/ vehicle, Cycle to Work, home and electronics, gym membership and more

discounts with a range of retailers, restaurants and entertainment venues through our Employee Assistance Programme and NHS discount schemes

wellbeing support, including an in-house counselling service, external helpline and more

staff networks and support groups

We're always on the lookout for people who share our passion for improving the lives and wellbeing of people in our community, as well as our values of compassion, collaboration, excellence, integrity and respect.
