An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Community Mental Health Nurse to join our team in MHSOP Scarborough Community. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic individuals who are able to work with the wider MDT, voluntary sector and third sector organisations. This role may be eligible for sponsorship under the UK Visas & Immigration (UKVI) Skilled Worker route. Visit https://www.gov.uk/skilled-worker-visaMain duties of the job This is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to develop into a community role within a team of supportive and experienced professionals. You will demonstrate excellent assessment skills, interpersonal, and team working skills and be able to work collaboratively with a range of statutory and third sector agencies. You will manage a caseload supporting individuals in the community and be part of providing preventative measures and interventions whilst working closely in a joined-up approach with colleagues and external partners to achieve the best outcomes for those accessing our service. The role will involve administering of depot medication and monitoring compliance and concordance with any other medications and side effects. The Practitioners help deliver and oversee pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions and provide clinically relevant updates via MDT and supervision, accessing wider services and support according to changing patient need. Due to the nature of the role it is essential that applicants are able to travel independently across the locality and have access to a suitable vehicle for business purposes. If necessary, adjustments can be considered in accordance with the Equality Act 2010.
