Full Job Description
Are you passionate about supporting people with learning disabilities and/or autism to achieve their goals, build independence, and become active members of their local communities? At Homefield, we're looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and proactive Community Learning Assistant to join our Community Learning team. You'll support the delivery of engaging community-based learning, holiday provision, social activities, and volunteering opportunities that help individuals develop life skills, confidence, wellbeing, and meaningful social connections. Working alongside experienced colleagues, you'll provide person-centred support, encourage participation, promote independence, and help individuals achieve their personal goals in a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment. The role is varied and rewarding, taking place across a range of community settings and activities.
We're looking for someone with experience supporting people with learning disabilities and/or autism, excellent communication skills, a positive and encouraging approach, and a commitment to promoting equality, empowerment, respect, and sustainability. A full UK driving licence is essential.
